What started Coco Physique?

Hello, I'm Lindsey!

Owner of Coco Physique skincare line. Why is Coco Physique even a thing?? Welp, I was pregnant with my first baby and had some serious chapped lips for months. Went to my go to lip balm (I read ingredients on everything now) read the ingredients and was appalled they changed from olive oil to canola oil! I looked for lip care from small businesses around my coastal area and found that some use toxic ingredients like titanium dioxide! It actually made me sad. Literally an ingredient that is illegal in all countries except here! I was not about to put that on my lips and lick it all day.. Soooooo I started to make my own. AND BECAME OBSESSED! Skin care is my thing. I love creating amazing products that help people with their skin and confidence. I definitely had some amazing friends support and help along the way! Thank you.

A friend whom is also a master esthetician asked if I made any facial polishes or oils that she could use on her clients and if I didn't, if I could. I accepted this challenge. I made a beautiful body butter, facial polish and even a coffee scrub for their feet! My sister and brother in law roast their own coffee so the coffee scrub was a must! She really got me started on what was next?

Two amazing people that own an amazing/huge shop in Portland (urbanitepdx) came through my work and asked if I wanted to sell at a Christmas party they did every year. I didn't know anything about selling in a market setting! Challenge accepted. I needed to be professional and have social media and all the things.. So I did it. Did my first market and had soooo much fun talking about my products and selling to people that really care about their skin and well being. That was it. I knew Coco Physique was going to be apart of my life, and hopefully apart of my children's lives too.

I've slowly started to sell at some local shops and hope to get my products in more along our beautiful coastal area.

The support and love that I've gotten over the years has been amazing and I thank you all.

Absolutely yes, we pride ourselves on natural and organic ingredients ethically sourced for your skins satisfaction! Safe for babies too!

What is Tamanu oil?

The green goddess of skin oils! Tamanu oil has helped me and so many others with dermatitis, all kinds of acne, bumps, dry skin and even cradle cap. This oil was introduced after I had some serious perioral dermatitis on my face (something that happened during my pregnancy) and I couldn't get rid of it for years! I read about the Tamanu nut and how its acne fighting and helps with eczema so I decided to try it. Two days! Two days it took for me using Tamanu oil to see a huge change in my skin. By day 9 all of the dermatitis was gone and all the marks that came with it. I got my skin and confidence back! This amazing oil is in my line so I can share it with the world. I have a special place in my heart for Tamanu because it has helped so many people, including teenage boys with face and back acne!

What makes your body butter different?

Simple and effective ingredients that are made for the skin. We use the most effective oils and butters to replicate the skins oil as close as we can. Coconut oil is my favorite carrier oil have used it my whole life for everything. Great moisturizer and barrier protection. Mango butter is a natural teether for babies and soaks in skin faster than any of the other butters. Jojoba oil mimics the skins sebum the closest of any oils and has cleansing prosperities. Vitamin E helps heal and keep these amazing oils safe on the shelf. Like a natural preservative for oils, while healing any impurities in your skin.

What do you use Magnesium mist for?

Magnesium mist is a deep sea mineral that is essential for our nerve, muscle and bone function. Magnesium mist helps promote better sleep, anxiety issues, depression, tiredness during the day, cleans your skin, calms the nervous system, body odor and smells delightful. We start on our feet for the first week because if we are deficient then the magnesium causes an itching sensation, not on the bottom of the feet though. Once your body is used to the magnesium you can spray it all over.
